This Sunday, new cashless payment technology made its debut at Piknic. There were more than 6,000 people on hand to test the new system. A big first go that brought several areas to light for improvement, both in our operations and in terms of your use of the pads. More work is needed so that everyone can enjoy the full fluidity of this new process and avoid problems.

You can’t stop progress, people! As of Sunday, August 24th, Piknic’s going cashless and moving to digital payment. What’s it mean? That means that ALL transactions on the Piknic site will happen through the RFID chip in your wristband or season pass that every piknicer scans at the gate. (...)
