Nicolas Rouleau, aka dj Dorobo, was introduced to electronic rhythms approximately fifteen years ago via industrial music: Skinny Puppy, Pop Will Eat Itself can be quoted as being the first subversive elements in which he got interested. It was thus natural for him to attend his first techno event a few years later and to discover there an unconditional passion for these hypnotic sounds. After some time spent in the world of psychedelic music, Nicolas started to chart a new musical course, moving towards slower and more refined sonorities. His weapon of choice nowadays is a fine mixture of techno, garage, techno-dub.
