Green VelvetUS

A fan favorite across Europe, playing to huge crowds at festivals in addition to live radio appearances and club gigs, since 1991 Chicago producer Curtis Alan Jones has issued literally hundreds of releases as the techno-motivated Green Velvet, the more house-leaning Cajmere, and numerous other aliases. Adopting the persona Green Velvet (not to mention a Day-Glo shock wig), he became the champion of new wave Chicago beats through the ’90s. Many of his releases have come out on his own labels, which include Cajual, Relief, and Velvet.
