Originally from the south of France, Maudite Machine is just beginning to make inroads in Montreal’s music scene.  Passionately involved in minimal electro and perpetually in search of new sounds, Maudite Machine likes to explore a mix between cold atmospheric sounds and brittle bass lines.   His sets are relentlessly single-minded: to share his love of electro and to make you dance as much as possible to his Maudite Machine!

MadKids are two young dj/producers who have been attracting a certain amount of attention. In less then a year, they already have released two original EP’s instantly supported by industry heavyweights such as Mowgli, Round Table Knights, Cameland Brodinski to name a few. Having played numerous clubs and influential events such as Igloofest, the two have recently been invited to play the Nuits Sonores festival in Europe. Every once in a while a new producer just smashes their way through into the bigtime. That's what's happening with Riva Starr's sneak-in-and-blow-the-place-up approach. Starr plunders the best in tech house and beeping, burping synth lines to create a dirty, messy dancefloor affair. An act whose influence comes from blogs, wild afterparties, music that works for the kids as well as the cool ubercoolische europeans, Riva seems to have sprung onto the scene fully formed, with ace records for Jesse Rose’s Frontroom and Claude Vonstroke’s Dirtybird.

Florian, is the main component of the F.AN project. In 2008, Florian decided to move to Madrid. There, he found his own musical style and the F.AN project was born. F.AN is a sound with many contradictions, hard and soft, liquid and solid, minimal and subtle... a shelter where sounds are not afraid to be mixed and distorted. 2009 marks the beginning of a new period: the two first EPs are released and the project crosses the pond to Montréal, due to Florian´s inherent constant search of new sounds, places and inspiration.

Djendless (Jean-Sebastien Roux) and dj slap (Sebastien Lapointe) have collaborated on numerous musical ventures in the past decade. For them, the mixing skills of four hands appeared naturally back in 1999, the year they met. Together over the years, they’ve developed eclectic and finely tuned sets that are worked down to the last sound, by which point they’re usually buried under a mountain of records that defy easy categorization.
