In Montreal, Guilty is regarded as a taste-maker, helping everyone find their groove whether behind the decks or on the floor. He’s a fantastic hip hop and house DJ, rocking Montreal’s afterhours scene. Dedicated to the masses and to exposing underground music, Guilty held down an incredibly successful Saturday night weekly at Blue Dog for two years. This man comes more than equipped to mash up the dance floor.

What is it about his sonic approach that has created so much fever around the name Julio Bashmore? It's difficult to say exactly. But bounce to blissed-out Garage of "Footsteppin", lose your shit to his Mosca remix, or turn out the lights for "Batak Groove" and you'll realise, simply, that it's just something you feel.  His bass-driven house tracks and remixes have appeared on Night Slugs, Ten Thousand Yen, PTN, Dirtybird, fabric and Soul Motive.

Sipherdee is the explorative music project behind Sessions Syndromatiques, which got its beginnings in Quebec City circa 2002. Open to all musical styles, Eric Beaurivage recently accepted the post of artistic director for the new record store In Trouble With Mom (ITWM Records).  A fervent defender of free and open technologies, don’t be surprised to hear him spinning cuts from a multitude of netlabels.

A new arrival on the international funky-house scene, Montreal’s Bowly (his production alias) Sharivari (his DJ alias) began to pick up steam in the British house/dubstep/grime triangle over the course of 2009. By 2010 he was a regular feature in the mixes of DJ’s such as Ikonika, Cooly G, Geiom, Brackles, Ben UFO, and Modeselektor. With a 12-inch single out on Berkaen Sol and another coming on Dub Organizer, a critically raved live set at MUTEK 2010 and Osheaga, this year seems hotly tipped to be Bowly’s big break.
