Avec un style à mi-chemin entre le techno et le house, Matt Brancatella puise son inspiration au sein des productions du label Perlon records. Ses racines IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) l’ont également aidé à se tracer un chemin vers un son plus près de la dance music. Résident au Salon Daomé, Matt fait aussi partie du crew Safari, qui a, dans les derniers mois, organisé la venue des artistes Barem, Butch et Shonky. Dans ses temps libres, le jeune homme de 22 ans se consacre à son apprentissage et à son évolution dans le milieu de la production de musique.

Maher Daniel is a DJ/producer based out of Montreal, and a name that you will be hearing much more of over the course of 2010 and beyond.  His residency at Stereo regularly sees Maher playing alongside the biggest names in the industry such as Lee Burridge, Clive Henry, Audiofly, Adam Beyer and Josh Wink – which befits a club which is regularly named in the world’s top 20. Maher has also guested at festivals such as Creamfields Abu Dhabi, Piknic Electronik and Igloofest.

Ali ‘Dubfire’ Shirazinia's went solo in 2005 after he had conquered house music under the name Deep Dish, a duo which began in 1991 in Washington DC. He set up SCI+TEC Digital Audio as an outlet to release his new music, and began quietly unleashing a string of remarkable tracks.  A major figure in house music, in 2011 alone has seen Dubfire co-produce tracks with celebrated British electronic music act Underworld, put out a two-disc mix compilation with Loco Dice for Cocoon, remix more Plastikman material, and collaborate on a series of EPs with respected German producer Oliver Huntemann. His SCI+TEC label has also become a home for many emerging and established talents.

3 years into his Montreal visit, ESL founder DJ BUS built his reputation mixing loft parties – pushing the UK sound that now dominates the rave and dance culture in Montreal. Sharing bills with legends Logan Sama, Roska, BOK BOK, Dubble Dutch, Altered Natives, Kingdom and MAK 10, it’s a known fact that BUS is a staple on any UK line-up. Last year ESL landed a spot on NASTY FM, being the first non-UK DJs to have a show. You can catch ESL every Saturday 7 – 9 pm, broadcasting live from Montreal. LOL Boys might be the humans Markus G. from Montreal and Jerome P. from Los Angeles, or they might intricately constructed androids conceived on the internet. Either way, they have a penchant for head-throbbing, mind-expanding percussive dance music. The forward-thinking producers are fueled by equal parts shuffling tropical percussion, romantic synths, pitch-shifter vocals, and a hearty dose of booming bass.
