A DJ for about 10 years and founder of MusicIsMySanctuary.com, Lexis is recognized to be one of the most eclectic DJs around. From house, UK-garage, passing through soul to the most abstract of beats, he enjoys playing all genres. He has recently shared the stage with Julio Bashmore, Quantic, DJ Vadim, Africa Hitech, Zed Bias, Onra, Mary Anne Hobbs among others and his monthly radio show was deemed among the best in the world by Mixcloud in 2011. Lexis is also the creator of 24HoursofVinyl.com.

The brainchild of Lorin Ashton, Bassnectar combines sound and force with weight while spanning the spectrum of sonic style, covering every genre imaginable, and smashing it all into a collision of intense, wobbling basslines, hypnotic soundscapes, and pretty much anything that strikes his fancy. He calls the end product “omnitempo maximalism,” which basically means no rules, no limitations, and no hesitation in fusing the familiar with the strange or the classic with the cutting edge.
