Q&A with Zombie Disco Squad
Having caught the attention of Jesse Rose and Claude Vonstroke, Zombie Disco Squad’s Lucas Hunter and Nat Self fuse house music with Baile Funk, African rhythms, Baltimore, Hip-Hop, and the so-called fidget sound. Influenced by African percussion, foreign languages and jacking music Lucas & Nat were soon traveling around the world touring the states and across Europe. They’ve touched down in clubs such as Fabric in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin and Hive in Zurich all on the back of their popular online mixtapes.

How did you get into this?
We were forced by Jesse Rose...he is an evil genius.
What’s your ideal setup to rock a crowd?
2CDJs, a mixer, 1 bottle of Jack Daniels and 1 bottle of vodka.
What do you usually bring to a picnic?
Potato salad and sarcasm.
What’s the first song that made you go crazy?
I used to be petrified of the Velvet Underground album with Nico for some reason....it just freaked me out.
What song will you never drop?
“Drop the Pressure” by Mylo.
Funniest request you’ve ever gotten?
"Can you play some House please"
Most memorable DJ experience?
Last years Piknik Elektronik!!! Best gig ever!
Biggest fail of your career?
Meeting Nazis in Moscow. Scary.
